Mecca is proud to have assembled such a loving, talented and dedicated teaching team. Lisa Vasconcelos

Since 2001, Lisa has shared her love of, and passion for, all things theatre with folks of all ages from across our region. One of our regions most experienced and versatile stage performers, Lisa has appeared in, or directed, more than 60 productions in Westman, most of which have appeared on the WMCA stage. She enjoys singing and performing all styles of music - from rock to challenging choral pieces in German, Lisa's range, positivity and versatility make her an asset to any ensemble. She is a proud member of the Mecca Community Choir and NOVOS. She is grateful for the opportunities she has had in the classroom, helping people of all ages to discover the magic of musical theatre and power of community. She has mentored many young performers on stage and off, some of whom have made theatre arts their profession. When she's not at the studio, you can find her on the Pickleball courts or spending time with her family. Of all the roles she has played on stage, the role she is most proud of is 'mom to Tiana and Lucas.' She is honoured to lead such a dynamic and passionate team who bring a season of productions to the WMCA each year and is proud of her contribution to the arts in Westman, sharing these experiences with her husband David.
