Founded in 2001, Mecca Productions has grown from a single weekly class into Westman’s premier hub for performance and creativity. Based at the beautiful WMCA, we bring together a diverse team of elite instructors and dedicated volunteers to produce a vibrant season of live theatre. Whether you are a toddler exploring creative play, a student seeking "triple threat" training in our award-winning Performance Troupe, or an adult finding your voice in our inclusive community choirs, there is a place for you here.

Performing at the magnificent WMCA offers a grand "picture-frame" view, but our true craft lies in making even the largest Broadway hits—like Into the Woods or Newsies—feel intimate and personal.

Standard scripts are often designed for flat, static sets, but we embrace the challenge of the big stage by using dynamic choreography and innovative scenic design. We don’t just rely on backdrops to tell the story; we use every inch of the stage to ensure the action feels three-dimensional. Our directors and choreographers work tirelessly to ensure that no matter where you are sitting, the performance feels natural, effortless, and close enough to touch.
