About How the Grinch Stole Christmas - The Musical

 Our fall 2026 show is a large cast, family-focused musical!  We are excited to welcome ALL interested adult performers to the cast.  If you've never done a show, this is a great one to join and give it a try.

 

Roles for children will be filled via internal auditions from our APT/AAPT program

Cast List & Adjustments

• Review the Cast List:)

•  Corrections: If your name is missing or misspelled, please contact Miss Lisa at meccabdn@gmail.com immediately.  Name corrections must be recieved by September 21.

• Changes: If your or your performer chooses not to continue with the production, please notify Miss Lisa so we can adjust the cast list.

• Additional Roles: Please note that any remaining solo lines or small group parts within songs will be cast during upcoming vocal rehearsals.

 

Key Dates

• Show week November 15-22 is an 'all hands on deck' commitment.  

  • Sunday load in - we appreciate the help building the set

  • Rehearsals will usually start by 5:30 Mon-Weds.  Show times are lsited on the calendar (and the WMCA website).

  • Ensembles not required

• Nov 8 - dress rehearsals and Cast, Crew & Family Potluck (S4S)

• Nov 11 - spot rehearsals as needed

  • Fees Due: Participation fees are due prior to material pick-up. E-transfers are preferred. Please include your or your performer's name in the memo line.

• Use RehearScore (an app for your phone or iPad) to practise at home!

• Once you have committed to the show, you will receive an access code by email

Staying Connected

• Google Calendar: Most rehearsals are already posted. Please ensure you have synced the calendar to your device. If you need access, email meccabdn@gmail.com.

• Facebook Group: Join our How the Grinch Stole Christmas group to connect with other cast members. We strive to keep this a positive, safe, and helpful space; please bring any specific concerns directly to Miss Lisa.

• Support: We are here to help with calendar syncing and scheduling questions before most rehearsals.  

 

Behind-The-Scenes
