Mecca Productions invites you to share the ultimate Christmas adventure with their cast this holiday season when A Christmas Story The Musical opens at the WMCA November 19, 2015.  A Christmas Story The Musical is hilarious holiday entertainment that captures a simpler time with humour, with and a heart of gold.

 

Based on the 1983 classic movie, A Christmas Story The Musical, tells the hilarious tale of Ralphie Parker's desperate quest for the ONE Christmas gift he wants: an official Red Ryder BB Gun.  The stories of legendary radio humourist Jean Shepherd come to live in true holiday splendour.

 

Nominated for 3 Tony Awards, a Christmas Story the Musical features a large chorus of talented kids from across westman, directed by Lisa Vasconcelos and choreographed by Monique Roy-Keller.  With vocal direction by Katherine Sherris and a 20 piece LIVE orchestra conducted by Jocelyn Park, the music of A Christmas Story The Musical will leave you smiling and live in your heart long after the curtain closes.  Heartfelt and funny songs Benj Pasek & Justin Paul and a faithful yet inventive book by Joseph Robinette.
