Remember that snow storm in spring when all the roads where closed?  We do!  That was Little Shop’s opening night.  Starring Jereme Wall and Carolyn Gwyer, Little Shop rocked from start to finish.  A small cast of 13 provided a fast-moving, high energy production that featured a man-eating plant built by a team of four dedicated visionaries.  Keay Dobson-Golletz stepped out from the stage manager’s post to direct Mecca’s second musical. Jeff McPherson provided the voice of Twoey (Audrey II), Poul Jensen returned to the WMCA (and stole the show) as the sadistic dentist, David Vasconcelos grew an enviable beard to play Mr. Mushnik and Sandy Jasper, Terrice Mailhoit and last-minute addition Lisa Vasconcelos provided tight vocals as the trio.
